Vision StatementNew Beginnings Fellowship Church is a ministry that has been built on principles driven by the Word of God. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) It is a place where those who are lost, troubled and broken can find strength and healing to their souls. Our environment is one where everyone can feel the love and warmth of God through the Pastor, membership and His Holy Spirit. We are a people who honors God and meets the needs of His Children with the highest level of excellence, integrity and respect. Our BeliefsWe believe the Word of God includes the proclamation of both the eternal power of Calvary and the potential power of the Pentecost; the power of Jesus Christ for salvation because of the crucifixion/resurrection and the filling/controlling power of the Holy Spirit for service and the holy victorious living because of Pentecost. Acts20:27; Acts 1:8 We
believe in the value of all spiritual gifts for the edification
of believers and the body of Christ until the end of this church
age is consummated by the glorious event return of our Lord
Jesus Christ. We believe these spiritual gifts are given for
the perfecting of the spirits for the work of ministry and
for the edifying of the body of Christ, and are given without
regard to ethnicity, social class or gender. We
believe in the formal and the international praise and worship of
the Almighty God as a proper spirit-led corporate acknowledgment
and response to his person and work. We believe Jesus Christ
as the baptizer with the Holy Spirit where by He, by means of the Holy
Spirit, brings Men and women to salvation into relationship with Himself
and His Body, the church. Believers are never commanded to be baptized
with the Holy Spirit; it is in fact the baptism of the Holy Spirit
that makes one a part of the body of Christ. All believers have been
baptized by Christ the Holy Spirit. We
believe in the dwelling of the Holy Spirit for all Christians;
it is in fact this indwelling of the Holy Spirit that verifies
and validates the believers as a part of the Body of Christ,
for He only indwells believers. We
believe in the Bible is the written and Holy Spirit inspired
Word of God. We believe in the truth found in the scriptures
is absolute, inerrant and infallible. The scriptures are the
final authority for the life of the believer and the church.
We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is the profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness |
