Lady Tara Cox Jackson

Lady Tara Jackson is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia.   She is the oldest of two daughters born to Harry and Geraline Cox. Lady Tara earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Norfolk State University. She has a passion for working with young children and has worked as an educator since 1997.  She has touched the lives of many students from Maryland, Virginia, and Indianapolis. She is currently the Assistant Principal at Oaklandon Elementary School in MSD of Lawrence Township. In May of 2010, Lady Tara earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from IUPUI.

Lady Tara has a tremendous passion for God’s Word coupled with a love for God’s people.  She is the First Lady of New Beginnings Fellowship Church where she stands with her husband faithfully serving God and ministering to the growing flock of the church.

Lady Tara has a heart for women. God is using her to encourage, equip and empower women to reach their utmost potential in Christ Jesus.  A dynamic speaker, Tara has hosted numerous conferences and classes at the church.

Lady Tara’s joy and balance is her family. Along with her husband, Dr. James Anthony Jackson, they are the proud parents of one son, James Jackson, II.  As a dynamic ministry family, they are dedicated servants of God, and stand as a testament to what God can do in the lives of true believers.
